Friday, January 15th, 2010The weather was really lovely throughout the entire morning. On my way to Putrajaya Marriot Hotel, you could see the sun shining through the clouds, an indication that it was going to be a really good day and to top it off, I was going to have my first shoot of the year 2010.
I love good signs like this =D
I meant signs from the universe, not literally signs lol! I have always wanted to do a shoot at the Putrajaya Marriot Hotel and I jumped at it when the opportunity arose. However, not knowing much about the whereabouts can be really bad but thank god for GPS haha! It was the lovely Mrs Zona’s 52nd birthday party and boy does her organizing committee really know how to throw one. For starters, being the only guy there a.k.a. me, does help entertain the ladies =p but they were all really nice, fun and sometimes a little naughty =p
Not only that, the setting was lovely, all handcrafted by a florist and decorated by the organizing team themselves. Games were prepared to such extend that there was even a game called Pin The Parts on Tiger, you wouldnt wanna know what it is about =p. The food was absolutely delicious as well and seeing these ladies enjoying themselves so much, it made my day even better. A big thanks to Zai for calling me up for the shoot and to Zona, a very merry happy birthday to you. It was an experience to be a part of the birthday party and very memorable one as well. Hope that I could throw something as awesome as this when my time comes, which is a very very very long time more lol!

Thursday, December 17th, 2009I was just going through some of the old photos from way back when we first started all the way until the current collections and yes in a way, I did see us improving a lot in the way we shoot.
Boy it was pretty different back then and like any others we were eager to shoot anything and everything. From the street shootings, to the general landscape and from there events and wedding photography really did nudge us a little in the back to try it out and that’s was how from there, we were acquainted with until today. We love what we do and we’re really passionate about it and therefore, we’re introducing a new section here, in this blog from time-to-time our from our very own archives just to show you all what we used to shoot back then.
In a way, these are also our memories which we want to record down and it is always good to go back to basics because we believe that with a firm basic in the knowledge of our photography, comes forth really beautiful images that will last a lifetime.
I love attending music gigs from time-to-time and I firmly believe in our local talents in the music industry. There are so many whom are so talented in what they do and I love their determination and their deep passion in music and I guess that is litteraly a translation of how I feel about photography. So, here is a set of some of our local music talents in Bangkok Jazz from some time way back =)
Ronnie takes the stage with his awesome violin plays while Rendra is at acoustic guitar and main vocals.
It was here that I first listened to Yuna and she really was really good! Do check her out yeah.
Sneak Peek: Heineken Green Room
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009It’s a Monday and I admit there are some Monday blues lingering around in me. Not to mention after a full weekend with morning to night shoots in different events altogether makes it pretty exhausting but really, I’m not complaining haha. In fact it was really fun and very much enjoyable despite working, and that is why I love this job =)
It was a beautiful weekend, confirming a couple of wedding jobs in 2010 (woooot am starting to fill in my 2010 calendar already) while meeting loads of fun and really friendly people. Although a bit hazy in the city but most of the time I was indoors so hurray I’m away from the killer haze.
Here’s a preview from one of the event that was shot last Saturday which happened in Zouk KL called the Heineken Green Room which features international as well as local artists. Oh by the way, one of the performers called Filthy Dukes was really awesome! Check them out yeah and oh, gotta love the colors and intensity that all the artists has to perform really great music.

Welcome to RPStudios Photography and we’re really glad to have you here and yes, we really are very very excited to share with you our works as we continue our journey as photographers. In brief, the 3 of us have ventured into photography about a couple of years back and have been freelancing for many various jobs such as product photography, portraits, events and weddings and finally, we’ve received our calling to turn our hobby into something even more and our love for weddings and events have made us to want to specialize in it further.
We love making beautiful pictures for our clients to see, heck we love making beautiful pictures for just about anyone to enjoy. To those that have helped us in making this website a very big thank you and to those whom have helped us in our journey of improvement, we really much appreciate it a lot and thank you for your words of encouragement. Many have inspired us and we hope that we could inspire others as well.
We are fun loving people, like literally. We enjoy having loads of laughter, cracking jokes and especially the lame ones! We’re totally addicted to smiles and laughter’s and we enjoy having loads of fun with people.
