From the Archives: Rendra Zawawi Farewell Gig

    Thursday, December 17th, 2009

I was just going through some of the old photos from way back when we first started all the way until the current collections and yes in a way, I did see us improving a lot in the way we shoot.

Boy it was pretty different back then and like any others we were eager to shoot anything and everything. From the street shootings, to the general landscape and from there events and wedding photography really did nudge us a little in the back to try it out and that’s was how from there, we were acquainted with until today. We love what we do and we’re really passionate about it and therefore, we’re introducing a new section here, in this blog from time-to-time our from our very own archives just to show you all what we used to shoot back then.

In a way, these are also our memories which we want to record down and it is always good to go back to basics because we believe that with a firm basic in the knowledge of our photography, comes forth really beautiful images that will last a lifetime.

I love attending music gigs from time-to-time and I firmly believe in our local talents in the music industry. There are so many whom are so talented in what they do and I love their determination and their deep passion in music and I guess that is  litteraly a translation of how I feel about photography. So, here is a set of some of our local music talents in Bangkok Jazz from some time way back =)

Sneak Preview: Aw Yong & John Lau

    Monday, December 14th, 2009

I love knowing how couples meet.

The stories behind it is always interesting. I remember asking my mum about how she met my dad, apparently it was at a church camp and they were both fighting over as to who gets the peanut butter. And as much as it started out as a fight, it soon bloomed on to a loving courtship, marriage and well, that’s where you get *ahem* me :)

When I asked Aw Yong to tell the story of how she and John met, she was pretty shy in telling it but I could tell that she was also eager to tell it as well. Well to cut the story short, both husband and wife are from Australia, which sparked of an old school tale of how 2 souls fall for each other. Both met at the same university and from there their stories began to unfold one by one.

    John & Aw Yong

Congratulations to you the both of you and a full post of the wedding will come out next ;)
